Her combined interests in reproductive health and providing compassionate care have led her to become a doula. She is passionate about empowering pregnant people and families as they prepare for their baby to come into the world.

To Summer, being a doula is showing and guiding people that you can prioritize yourself – your comfort, your safety – through birth, one of the most vulnerable and transformative moments in one’s life, and for the rest of your life.
